I mentioned to a friend that I was going to learn about mashups and she mentioned the blending of two songs to make a new song. My son spoke up and said that I was going to learn about a different mashup. So, imagine my surprise when I read that the blended song concept is where the idea originated.
I especially enjoyed Flickr Mosaic and Flickr Trading Cards. I can think of plenty of applications such as teaching the kids Mosaic to use with their powerpoint projects about countries and making trading cards of authors or characters in books. Made a trading card of my son just for fun. Won’t he be embarrassed?
